Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative was on site to observe proof-rolling of subgrade soils at Nature Walk Parkway between manholes #10 and 11. The subgrade was proof-rolled using a loaded tandem dump truck with 19.35 tons making two passes over all areas. The east side lane appeared stable under traffic with no additional clipping required. The west side lane had several isolated spots having slight to moderate movement under traffic with recommendations to clip areas -4″ and one area -8″ and replace with additional base stone.
The curb contractor was on site and poured radius curbing on Nature Walk Parkway and poured two throats at the entrance drive to phase 1B.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
