Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Area 2:
Topsoil was placed and evenly spread across the area using a Caterpillar 275 track loader. The material was distributed to achieve uniform coverage in preparation for final grading and surface finishing activities.

Area 4:
Work continued with placement of fill material in controlled lifts of approximately 6–8 inches. Each lift was compacted using a sheep foot roller to ensure proper density and stability. Density tests were performed on alternative lifts, and results met the required compaction. The operation progressed systematically lift by lift following standard compaction procedures.
