Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe fill placement for the toe of the dam. Another representative from ASEC will begin observing fill placement and performing density testing. Our representative observed the third section of the french drain installed at the west end of the dam. The drain had approximately 18″ of No. 57 stone wrapped in filter fabric with 6″of No. 57 stone placed over top of the filter fabric. The grading contractor continued placing fill at the toe of the slope embankment dam. Density tests will be performed by the other ASEC representative.
