Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Crew continued working beside retaining wall #1. Fill material was placed in lifts, spread using a crawler bulldozer, and compacted using both a sheep-foot roller and a Caterpillar815. Density tests were performed, and the results met the required project compaction specifications.

At the neighborhood site the crew started excavation and placing storm drainpipe and placed No.57 stone around the drainpipe and fill material was then placed and compacted using a sheep-foot roller.

At the Buford neighborhood site, the crew continued trench excavation using a hydraulic excavator equipped with a rock grinder to achieve the required depth and width.
