Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

At Lots #60 and 61, fill material was placed using articulated dump trucks, then spread and leveled with a crawler bulldozer. The material was compacted using a sheep-foot roller. Density tests were performed on the lots, and the results met the required compaction.

On the other side of the project, the crew started installing the water line toward Road D. The crew excavated the soil to the required depth, leveled the subgrade, and installed approximately 100 lineal feet of 8-inch DIP in the east direction. After installation, backfill material was placed and compacted using a trench compactor.
