Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the curbing contractor continue installing 30″ curb at Naturewalk Parkway. The contractor installed approximately 300 lineal feet of curbing using a 3000-psi concrete mix.

The grading contractor continued hammering rock at Unit 4 phase 2.

The grading contractor also began placing fill at the recently cleared area for Unit 4 Phase 3, specifically, Lots #95, 96 and 97 in compacted lifts.

Fill placement at the bridge abutment was cancelled today due to saturated in-place soils from a recent rain event.
