Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

DCP testing was performed at Lot 35-21. The soils encountered consisted primarily of red fine to medium sandy soil and brown silty sand.

Lot 35-21:

• DCP Test 1: Red fine to medium sandy soil encountered; 10 blows at 1 foot, 9 blows at 2 feet, 9 blows at 3 feet, and 11 blows at 4 feet.
• DCP Test 2: Brown silty sand encountered at 1 foot with 9 blows; red fine to medium sandy soil encountered from 2 to 4 feet, with 11 blows at 2 feet, 9 blows at 3 feet, and 9 blows at 4 feet.
