Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor Thompson continue placing fill at building Lots #10 thru 14. The contractor began excavating a borrow pit to obtain fill materials for building lots. The borrow pit was located south of building Lot #24 near the slope embankment. The contractor plans to refill the excavated hole that is approximately over twenty feet deep.

The writer also observed curbing pour at Unit 4 phase 2 parking lot.
