Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date the writer was onsite as requested and observed the curbing contractor J&W demo poured type 7 curbing at westside roundabout and demo 80′ of curbing at Nature Walk westside connecting to the approach slab that was removed to align elevation to match. The contractor also repoured the removed curbing at Nature Walk and repoured type 9 curbing at westside roundabout.

The paving contractor NWGP continued subbase preparation at Nature Walk Parkway on west side of bridge.

The grading contractor also continued backfilling of curbing at Nature Walk Parkway.

The electrical contractor Mastec also continued installation of conduits at Unit 4, Phase 1B.
