Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Construction Activities Monitoring Report

On the mentioned date, the AS Engineering and Consulting LLC engineering representative was on site to observe the construction activities in progress at the project site. The work took place from 09:30 AM until 15:30 PM and included the following activities:

• Backfilling of the sewer line from 2A to 3A.

1.Backfilling of the sewer line from 2A to 3A

Backfill over the sewer line 2A to 3A was in progress. The ASEC technician observed the backfill activates identifying soft areas around the sewer manhole that was point out and recommended for recompaction to the backfilling crew.

2. Equipment in Operation
The following machinery was used for the day’s activities:

• 1 smooth drum roller
• 1 small remote-controlled roller

The work progressed smoothly, and all activities were completed without major issues.
