Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue placing fill for the slope embankment and building Lots #41 thru 37 and Lot#56. The writer also performed density tests using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model3430, serial no. 91743. Compaction results were in compliance with job specifications. The contractor also observed the blasting contractor who was on site performing rock test drill holes.

The pipe contractor was on site continuing to install 30″ RCP storm line between structures D9 and D10. Also continued 30″ from D10 installing two joints of pipe. All pipe was bedded on residual soils or rock.

The contractor continued washed silt clean up off the subbase stone at Naturewalk parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #6 and 9.
