Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative was on site to observe the pipe contractor continue to haul off stockpiled excavated blast rock at Nature Walk Parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #12 and 13 and dumping the rock fill at Unit 4 Phase 3 which was spread and compacted by Thompson Grading (for the later phase). Today’s placement was observed to occur at elevation 917 thru 919. The placement was suitable was project rockfill requirements.
The pipe contractor also continued installation of a 36″ CMP storm line between A4 and A5.
The blast contractor continued drilling at the roadway in the cul-de-sac at Unit 4 Phase 2.
The paving contractor continued subbase preparation at Nature Walk Parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #6 and 4. The contactor also began subgrade preparation at the cul-de-sac roadway 1B.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
