Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was onsite to observe the paving contractor continue to place base stone over the existing subgrade soils at Naturewalk Parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #12 and 14. The writer continued to observe additional traffic from subcontractors which caused additional repairs being needed on subgrade prior to placing subbase stone.

The grading contractor continued placing fill for unit 4 phase 3 which was observed and tested by another technician from ASEC.

The wall contractor continued to place reinforcing steel at the bridge floor slab.
