Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Cutting and backfill operations continued today using a 349E CAT Excavator and hauling using two heavy duty 745C tandem-axled dump trucks.

Fill was spread by a 61Pxi Komatsu Bulldozer for a thin strip behind Lots #28 and #29, specifically on the temporary pond at the back of Lot #30.

Compaction was performed using a 815F CAT Roller. Density tests results indicate that several areas fell just short of 95% compaction of a standard proctor, however, these areas were proof-rolled and found to be stable (no severe pumping/rutting was observed).

Storm line between Manhole E1 & E2 was excavated and installed. Sewer line between E2 & E3 was installed.  Both lines will be backfilled tomorrow.
