Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Observed the placement of backfill for the sewer line between manholes B9 and B-10 today.  During excavation and pipe placement, groundwater water was observed to be seeping into the excavation.  It was recommended to remove any soft soils followed by the placement of No. 57 stone to begin out of the bottom of the trench.
