Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Drilling Work Monitoring Report

On the mentioned date, the AS Engineering and Consulting LLC engineering technician was assigned to monitor drilling activities at the specified project site.

Three drilling machines were operating between manholes 4A and 5A along Road B. Drilling commenced at 08:00 AM and continued until 05:00 PM. A 3.5-inch drill bit was used for all holes. The machines worked in parallel and completed the following tasks:

• Drill Machine 1: Drilled 48 holes, each to a depth of 15 feet, with rock encountered between 0–7 feet.

• Drill Machine 2: Drilled 49 holes, each to a depth of 15 feet, with rock encountered between 0–5 feet.

• Drill Machine 3: Drilled 9 holes, each to a depth of 22 feet, located over the hill at Lot 18, with rock encountered between 0–4 feet.

The work progressed smoothly, and no significant issues were observed during the monitoring period.
