Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Construction Activities Monitoring Report
On the mentioned date, the AS Engineering and Consulting LLC engineering representative was on site to observe the construction activities in progress at the project site. The work took place from 10:00 AM until 15:30 PM and included the following activities:

Controlled blasting at 10:00 AM between 9 and 9A.

Drilling for Lot#24.
- Excavation for Manhole 9B.
1. Blasting
At 10:00 AM, the blasting crew successfully carried out controlled blasting for holes drilled on August 13, 2025, between Manholes 9 and 9A. Safety protocols were followed, and no incidents occurred.
2. Drilling at Lot #24
The drilling crew of advance explosive company worked on Lot #24, drilling holes spaced approximately 7 ft x 7 ft apart at a bit diameter of 3.5inch, continuing until 15:00 PM. The holes were randomly checked for the depth which was drilled as per the log sheet recorded by the drill operator. The drilling results were as follows.

Drill #1: 41 holes at the depth of 15 ft rock hitting at 0-8 ft and 3 holes at the depth of 23 ft, rock hitting 0-8 ft.

Drill #2: 43 holes at the depth of 23 ft, rock hitting at 2-9 ft.

Drill #3: 40 holes at the depth of 23 ft, rock hitting at 13 ft and 15 holes at the depth of 13 ft, rock hitting at 3-6 ft.
3. Excavation, for Manhole 9B
On the mentioned date, excavation done for the manhole 9B the manhole will be installed on the next working day.
4. Equipment in Operation
The following machinery was used for the day’s activities:
a. Drilling crew equipment
-
3 drilling machines.
b. Sewer line crew equipment
- 1 excavator
The work progressed smoothly, and all activities were completed without major issues.
