On the above date the writer was on site as requested and observed the grading contractor continue placing rock fill at slope embankment in compacted lifts using a dozer to spread and a sheet foot vibratory roller for compacting.The fill was placed in accordance with recommendations and appeared suitable for compaction requirements .
