Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue placing rockfill for unit 4 phase 3 in the deep slope embankment which was spread and tracked using a dozer and compacted with an off-road dump truck. The placement was suitably placed as per rockfill requirements. The contractor is moving rock fill to allow for additional drilling to blast.

The drilling contractor continued drilling at building Lot #37.

The paving contractor continued subbase and subgrade preparation at Nature Walk Boulevard placing contract base stone and clipping saturated subgrade soils and replacing with additional base stone.  Base stone was also placed at low subgrade elevations saving time to add additional fill soils at subgrade.

The pipe contractor also began installation of 30″ CMP at unit 4 phase 3.
