Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day:

Area 1
The area was prepared for sod placement, and sod was installed on the east side. Concrete was placed for a Type B drain collar.  The collar form and rebar placement was observed by 2MNext and AtlNext.  Topsoil was placed, and curb repairs were completed (see photos).

Area 2
Backfilling over the sheet piles was completed using graded aggregate base (GAB) and compacted with a trench packer. Compaction testing was performed (see testing report). Sod was subsequently placed.

Area 3
GAB was placed for the final lift, moisture-conditioned with added water, and compacted using a trench packer. Compaction testing of the GAB was completed (see testing report).

Area SG14
A flume and drain collar were formed, and concrete was placed. Concrete testing was performed (see testing report). All collars and the flume, including rebar placement, were observed  by 2MNext and AtlNext prior to concrete placement.

Area 6
A cultipacker was utilized to prepare the surface prior to sod placement.
