Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the pipe contractor continue installing 8″ sanitary sewer line between manholes #11 and 12 and compacting between manholes #10 and 11. The backfill was observed by probing using a 3/8″ diameter rounded end steel rod with plans to have a technician perform density tests on 6/12/26. It was also recommended to the grading contractor to scarify in-place fill placed for Lots #27 and 28.
